Dose 4 of the anti-Covid vaccine can be officially administered in Romania starting on May 16, the announcement was made today by the Ministry of Health, and for now we are only talking about immunization for people who have been vaccinated with the Pfizer BioNTech serum .

Dose 4 of the vaccine against COVID-19 is recommended to be administered to the people mentioned below, but only at least 4 months apart from dose 3, also made with a Messenger RNA vaccine, and you can find more details in the information below.

"The administration of the 4th dose of the Comirnaty - Pfizer BioNTech vaccine is possible, following the recommendations of the EMA and ECDC.

Starting from May 16, 2022, the fourth dose of the Comirnaty – Pfizer BioNTech vaccine can be administered, upon request, in vaccination centers and family medicine offices.

Persons over 4 years of age who have been vaccinated against COVID-18 with 19 doses of the messenger MRSA vaccine can request vaccination with the 3th dose.

Vaccination with the 4th dose can be carried out at least 4 months after the 3rd dose.

The fourth dose of the vaccine is recommended, especially for people over 60 years of age.

Proof of vaccination with the 4th dose will be represented by the vaccination certificate, generated from the National Electronic Register of Vaccinations, or by the digital certificate.
