Volodymyr Zelensky: Ukraine Proposes a Roadmap of Energy Sanctions for Russia

Volodymyr Zelensky Ukraine Proposes Russia Energy Sanctions Roadmap

Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has proposed a roadmap for the energy sanctions against Russia, which have been discussed so far, to be gradually imposed against the country with the aim of reducing its ability to continue its war in Ukraine, but also extend it to other countries, such as the Republic of Moldova, or just Transnistria.

Volodymyr Zelensky explains below why it is important to follow this roadmap, but also why the whole world can benefit from these sanctions, so it remains to be seen to what extent these recommendations made by the president of Ukraine could be put into practice and respected by the countries of the European Union, and not only.

"Today, a special group of international experts chaired by Michael McFaul and Andriy Yermak proposed a roadmap for energy sanctions. This is a detailed document that describes what needs to be done to make it really difficult for Russia to finance this war.

But at the same time - so that the global economy does not suffer losses due to restrictions on Russian energy resources. This is a rationally drafted document, and work has already begun on its implementation."
