Examples of Bad Treatments Prohibited in Romania Presented to the Police

The police warn Romanians from all over the country about ill-treatment of animals, whether they are pets or not, and this is because they attract extremely severe sanctions when they are detected by the authorities.

Below, the police presents a list of the bad treatments that are suspected to be applied to animals in Romania, and it would be good to look at them very carefully in order to respect them, otherwise the authorities apply drastic sanctions.

"Say honestly that your heart doesn't melt?

Those on the other side of the barricades, with aggressive manifestations towards all non-speakers, we inform you that, from today, the sanctions will be much harsher compared to those of the past!

We can give you an example of some bad treatments, just to understand what certain animals go through.

  • codotomy (cutting the tail);
  • cupping the ears, sectioning the vocal cords;
  • separating the chicks from their mother until they are at least eight weeks old in order to sell them;
  • using live animals for animal training or to control their aggression, if it causes them suffering;
  • abandoning and/or driving away an animal whose existence depends on human care;
  • the killing of animals, with intention, without right, the mutilation of animals, the organization of fights between animals or with animals and zoophilia.

Let us know if you witness the animalistic manifestations of some of us PEOPLE…those who have reason and speak!”
