Volodymyr Zelensky says that the end of the war depends equally on the position the Western world will take towards Russia, but also on the desire of the Kremlin, especially Vladimir Putin, to end hostilities as soon as possible , and for now there seems to be no chance that things will quickly return to normal.
"As for when this war can end, I think it depends on some things, specific things. First, at the will of the various parties. Because this war will end in any case, and we understand that there is a "military" part of the war (now is the most tense moment: a lot of blood of innocent people, civilians, a lot of losses of military personnel).
After the military part is over, I'm sure there will be a peace process in any case and there will be a table of negotiations and there will definitely be peace. The question is with whom will Ukraine negotiate, the question is with whom the Russian president will negotiate Ukraine.
We are fighting on our land, and I emphasize that this is Ukraine's war not against anyone, but for itself, on its own land, for its own freedom. And precisely for his own future... And that is why he [Putin] must live in reality, and his entourage must help him get out of his informational unreality that they have been building for many years, decades."
