The first cards from the government program "Support for Romania" have already been delivered by the authorities to the people who are entitled to receive them, they will be loaded with social vouchers worth 250 LEI each, but only starting on June 20 .
The Romanian Post distributed these cards to the Romanians who are enrolled in the program, no less than 3 million in number, so that a very large number of people actually end up benefiting from this program designed to help them get through the current difficult period more easily .
"As we promised, we are implementing the measures to protect Romanian citizens and the economy, included in the government program "Support for Romania". The first cards to Romanians on which the social vouchers worth 250 lei will be loaded were distributed, starting yesterday, by the Romanian Post.
The loading of the vouchers on the cards will be done after the distribution process is completed, starting from June 20, 2022. I thank the ministries and national and private companies, who have mobilized exemplary and synchronized, so that the distribution of the cards can begin earlier than the originally estimated deadline.
About 3 million people – pensioners, people with disabilities, low-income families and homeless people – will benefit from these vouchers every two months, money they can use to buy food. The total value of the aid amounts to 3,1 billion lei and will be granted in four installments, until the end of the year."
