More than 100.000 inhabitants of the city of Mariupol do not have access to drinking water at the moment, according to information provided by the mayor of the city, who is Ukrainian, and is still in office, even though the city has been occupied by the Russian army for several weeks good, after the Azovstal plant was conquered.
Vadym Boychenko is the mayor of the city of Mariupol, he says that the Russians supply drinking water to the city only once a week, and the residents wait between 4 and 8 hours to pick up a quantity that they can take back to their own homes, and then wait another week for other quantities.
There is no gas or electricity available in Mariupol for the residents at the moment, access to food is also very limited, and the sewage system is no longer working, so we are talking about a huge humanitarian crisis that is occurring in the city, but the Russians are not allowing the evacuation of the residents through humanitarian corridors yet.
