"Gheparzii Transilvania" - exercise to solve a tactical situation.

The soldiers of the Air Defense Detachment "Gheparzii Transilvania" continue their training process with the partners of the Battle Group in Poland by executing, last week, an exercise to solve a tactical situation at the battery level, in the Wyreby range.

The purpose of the conducted exercise was to train the Romanian military in the application of command-control procedures, the selection and distribution of targets, materialized this time with unmanned aerial vehicles of the RAVEN type.

The capabilities of surveillance and information gathering at the local level, as well as the flexibility due to the small size of these unmanned aerial vehicles made the activity much more demanding for the anti-aircraft gunners from the Romanian contingent who are training since April of this year in Poland under the coordination of the Joint Forces Command.
