The WHO demands the implementation of immediate actions by the governments of the world, and this is because it brings into discussion a problem that is becoming increasingly worrying in many countries around the world, and we are talking about fair access to public health services for people who have need them in everyday life.
The WHO has been asking for some time for world governments to intervene in the health systems of their own countries to ensure that any of their citizens need health services and have access to them, without putting them at risk at any time. this access, and for this we need sustained investments in public health systems.
The WHO asks the ministries of finance and economy to actively support the objective of ensuring quality public health services equitably for all citizens of the countries they serve, the organization saying that it is necessary to create a culture through which such bodies constantly serves the needs of health systems.
Even during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic, the WHO called for substantial investments in public health systems to maintain their ability to respond to any of the needs that people have, so now we are only talking about a reiteration of this concept, but also with a series of steps that should be completed.
