Volodymyr Zelensky is trying to mobilize the whole world to help Ukraine in this very difficult period that the country he leads is going through, and during the international conference in Lugano he stated that 750 billion euros are needed for its reconstruction, an amount colossal.
The President of Ukraine says that the reconstruction of his country will be one of the biggest contributions to maintaining global peace, and that the democratic world can demonstrate how strong it is, but also the fact that European values cannot be destroyed by anyone, including Russia through war which he started.
"A large-scale international conference in Lugano dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine. We offer our national Reconstruction Plan, on the basis of which it will be possible to implement every initiative, every idea, as well as use the funds that will be directed to reconstruction in a completely rational way and precisely in the interest of Ukraine.
The reconstruction of Ukraine will be the greatest possible contribution to maintaining global peace. We can demonstrate that the democratic world is stronger, that Europe is stronger, that our values cannot be destroyed. And we certainly will."
