A serious chain accident was filmed in Russia by a video camera monitoring the traffic on one of the areas of the ring road in Moscow, all starting from the wheel of a Lada car that jumped and moved successively from a traffic lane, on another, until it could no longer be avoided by cars.
You can see in the video clip below that some cars that were near the Lada car managed to avoid the wheel that was walking unhindered on the road, but when it reached the penultimate traffic lane, some of the cars failed to brake and they collided in the chain.
9 cars were involved in this accident, the number being high, especially since, as you can see, including two dump trucks were involved, one of them overturned in the middle of the road, but nevertheless, the drivers escaped with their lives, and this despite the fact that the heavy tonnage cars overturned.
Accidents of this kind are not very common, but in this situation it was a very old, very rusty Lada car, but it is not very clear what caused the wheel to detach from the hub of the car, but the result can be very clearly seen in the video clip below.
