Romania will get rid of the 6th wave in the fall, but unfortunately the other days the Minister of Health stated that the 7th wave could start in October or November, if the new, much more contagious strain of Omicron BA.2.75, or another one at least as contagious , will begin to spread with high intensity throughout the world during that period.
In the last 2 years, Romania has gone through strong pandemic waves in the October - December periods, and this is because the opening of schools and the increased interaction between people in closed spaces favors the transmission of the Coronavirus with high intensity, so that international forecasts indicate the onset of the 7th wave in the fall.
Romania does not currently have imposed measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus at the level of the entire country, and it is not known to what extent it could be then, but if things will impose it, then the authorities in our country will definitely act to protect as best as possible Romanians against a possible infection, especially if there will be major risks for people.
