DACIA Duster 3 is already being tested on public roads by DACIA, a sign that the launch is fast approaching, and this also brings us new information about the future SUV model. According to the information that appeared after the DACIA Duster 3 was caught on the roads in Spain, it seems that a series of major changes will be made in the new car.
DACIA Duster 3 would be launched by DACIA without diesel engines, according to the Spanish press, leaving only gasoline, LPG, and hybrid ones, but also gasoline. The abandonment of diesel engines is not exactly something unexpected with regard to the new SUV model, and this is because they have already been abandoned in Logan and Sandero since 2021.
DACIA must make the transition to electric motors in the near future, and it all starts with abandoning diesel engines and offering only gasoline, LPG, and hybrid options. Of course, the DACIA Duster 3 will be interesting for many customers even in this situation, but the switch to electric motors will cause even more changes in customer preferences.
DACIA Duster 3 will offer a 1.3 Tce engine of 130 HP in the gasoline version, in the case of the hybrid version the same engine is available, but combined with an electric one it will be able to develop 150 HP. Of course, the hybrid version of the new SUV model will be more expensive, and this is because the technology used is not exactly cheap, even if it is integrated after years of use in Renault cars.
DACIA Jogger will have hybrid technology before DACIA Duster 3, and it will be taken over by the new SUV at the time of launch, probably with some small changes. Considering this estimated evolution of things, we will be able to know in advance what the SUV will offer after the implementation in the Jogger, and here we are talking not only about performance, but also about the price.
It is expected that the DACIA Duster 3 will be more expensive than the current models, the new technologies that DACIA will implement will increase the selling price of the new car. The difference should not exceed a maximum of 2.000 euros for the cheapest model, but we will find out more only after the new model is officially presented.
