LAST Moment: The Minister of Education Informs us about the Major Changes in Romanian Schools

LAST Moment The Minister of Education Informs Romanian Schools of Major Changes

The Minister of Education is speaking to millions of Romanians throughout the country about a series of extremely important changes that will be made for the education system in Romania, and this is because there will be an institution that will check teachers who do not respect the law, but only if it will be notified.

The Minister of Education talks about checks based exclusively on compliance with the education law, not on other legal issues, and separately from that he tells us what kind of changes are being made to the university system in Romania in the next period, they being some of the most important ones made by the authorities in the course of recent years.

"The Ministry does not have control powers from this perspective, but it will have a National Authority for School Inspection and quality assurance in education, within which a National Commission for School Inspection will function, whose objective will be the exact observance of these rules related to deontology professional.

The people who will be part of this commission assure you that they will be beyond any doubt from the perspective of professional or moral prestige. They will check the teachers when the situations are reported, yes. Otherwise, there is no institutional and legal possibility from the ministry to make such checks.

We have to be honest. The commission will verify the situations that will be reported, the principle of self-reporting and home searches will not work, certainly not. We do not deal with these aspects and we want to put things in order so that each institution deals with what it needs to deal with. There are other institutions that deal with these aspects, including compliance with fiscal rules.

Many things are changing in the university environment, there are new national programs, the national program to reduce university dropouts, the new internationalization program of Romanian university education appears: Study in Romania. Increasing the scholarships from 200 LEI per month to 300 LEI per month for each budgeted student, so a 50% increase in the fund.

A series of new institutions appear, much better adapted to the needs of the Romanian higher education system, much more professionalized, and much more effective mechanisms to ensure standardization in terms of the awarding of university degrees, to ensure compliance with the conditions of ethics, to ensure the fair condition of financing." A declared government official.
