ECDC has published a very important official announcement regarding the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic in the European Union, the institution is trying to provide millions of Europeans with more information about how infections have decreased in the last 7 days, the news being very good in terms of in view of the exit from wave 6 during this period.

ECDC says that in the last 7 days, the number of new cases of Coronavirus has decreased by 30.5% compared to the previous week, and this is excellent news because it clearly suggests that the 6th wave has decreased substantially in intensity, and this gives us the confidence to he believes that until the end of August the situation of infections will be much calmer.

ECDC says that 25 countries in the European Union have reported decreases in the weekly number of cases, while the rest have reported increases, and they are in Eastern Europe, with the exception of Romania, which seems to have successfully crossed this wave of 6 infections with the Coronavirus, or at least that's what the daily figures published by the Romanian authorities show.

ECDC says that at European level the trend of infections is decreasing, which comes as good news before school starts in many European countries, but nevertheless, public health experts expect that in October, or November, to begin the seventh wave of infections generated by the Coronavirus.
