Romania is going through a very worrying situation at the moment, a situation that brings a lot of anxiety for millions of Romanians all over the country, and this is because there are many fears vis-à-vis the economic situation, the energy situation, but also the expansion of the war in Ukraine beyond the borders of the country, and for one of these problems an official announcement came today.
Romania will have the necessary energy in the winter so that both individuals and companies can carry out their lives and activities in normal conditions, the power supply will be constantly ensured by the authorities in Romania, or at least that's what they told us today The government through the voice of Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca.
Romania, through the Government, has assumed in front of the population including a ceiling on energy prices, and this ceiling will remain active, despite the fact that information has recently appeared regarding the fact that energy suppliers still have to receive a lot of money from the Government, and that in the winter there could be problems with the supply of energy if they are not paid.
Today, Romania also has an Interministerial Committee for ensuring energy resilience and the implementation of energy infrastructure projects, it is led by the Prime Minister, its purpose being to ensure the energy flow in the country on the one hand, and on the other hand the development of energy projects.
Romania should get through this winter quite easily from an energy point of view, considering that it has, theoretically, the necessary resources not to depend to any extent, or too much, on other countries, and the price ceiling should to assure us that we will not pay more than last year.
