The coronavirus is spreading very quickly in Romania at the moment due to the fact that there is a high level of contagion due to the Omicron strain, but also because there are no measures to prevent the spread, so it is expected that a wave will appear in the fall 7 infections generated by the virus.

Romania should enter the fall with a reduced number of new cases of Coronavirus, at least according to the information that has been provided so far by the authorities in Romania, and this is good news before school starts, and it is hoped that wave 7 will start with a reduced number of daily infections.

"In the last 24 hours, 5.659 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, 3.060 more than the previous day. 1.131 of the new cases in 24 hours are of reinfected patients who tested positive more than 90 days after the first infection.

Distinct from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 276 people were reconfirmed positive."
