DACIA Duster 3 brings the end of an era within DACIA, an era in which the Romanian company became one of the largest car manufacturers worldwide, but the end was foreshadowed as early as 2021. More precisely, DACIA Duster 3 will bring the end the era of diesel engines for the DACIA company, and this is because the current SUV is the last car model that still has engines of this kind in the configurations that are sold all over the world.
DACIA Duster 3 is to be launched with engines that run on gasoline, or gasoline and LPG, a hybrid version with an additional electric motor is also being prepared for launch, but it will be offered a little later after the launch of the main models. 2024 should be the year when Duster 3 will appear on the roads of many European countries, and that will be the point when DACIA will remove diesel engines from its offer.

Duster 3 without a diesel engine among the options is a transition that we were expecting at the very moment when Logan 3 and Sandero 3 were launched, both coming without such types of engines, so everyone was expecting something like this. DACIA Duster 3 without a diesel engine will still be able to offer good performance for customers who will purchase the new SUV, especially when the version with an electric engine for all-wheel drive will also be offered.
DACIA has very big plans to produce cars that are more environmentally friendly, and after 2030 we should see exclusively electric versions, including for Duster 3, or Duster 4, depending on what will be sold after the new regulations come into force European regulations. Until then, DACIA Duster 3 will complete the transition process of those from DACIA for the elimination of diesel engines from its offer, and this is of course something expected by many people.
DACIA Duster 3 should be presented in the fall of 2023 by the DACIA representatives, and it should arrive in the representatives, and to customers, in the spring of 2024, but the final launch plans have not yet been officially revealed.
