Formula 1: Lewis Hamilton Claims HARD Hit at Belgian MP, Mercedes Frustrations

Formula 1 HARD BLOW Claimed Lewis Hamilton Belgian MP Frustrations With Mercedes

Formula 1 restarts today with the Belgian Grand Prix, and Lewis Hamilton claims a hard blow received before the new race starts, and this is due to the fact that he managed a much weaker positioning than that of Max Verstappen in the qualifying races. Lewis Hamilton says that the difference of 1.8 seconds between him and Verstappen in today's Formula 1 race is like "a punch between the teeth", something I haven't heard from the British pilot for a while.

Hamilton complains about the problems that the Mercedes Formula 1 car has, stating that despite all the improvements that the team's engineers have made, the car still remains far inferior to the competitors. Lewis Hamilton seems more focused on the next car model that Mercedes is preparing for the next Formula 1 season, one in which he will, most likely, want to have better results.

Formula 1 started badly for Hamilton and Mercedes, it continued badly, and the driver says that the car that the company made available to him is not one that will ensure a top 5 position in the qualifications for this race. Hamilton also declares himself frustrated by what is happening at the moment with the Mercedes car, and the bad positions in the Formula 1 races kind of add up for the pilot, which generates enough pressure.

Lewis Hamilton still stated that he will try to get a good result in today's race, but says that the car will determine to a large extent whether he will reach the podium in the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix, or whether he will be placed on a weak place. Hamilton is still confident that Russell could have a better position, as happened in many other Formula 1 races, his colleague getting along better with the Mercedes car.

"I mean, obviously everyone is working for improvements. And we came here very, very optimistic that we could be close [the gap to Red Bull and Ferrari]. Half a second, who knows, but to be 1,8 seconds behind is a real kick in the teeth.

For me, it's just focusing on how we build and design next year's car. The other two teams in front of us are in a different league, but our car looks very different from theirs. So we'll do everything we can for the rest of the season."

Formula 1 still has a lot of races this season, but Hamilton has no chance of getting a very good position in his team, which of course generates a lot of tension in the Mercedes team.
