The problem that TikTok had was discovered in phones with the Android operating system, so it does not apply to those using the iOS operating system from Apple, and according to Microsoft, it would have been solved in the latest version of the application.
Microsoft says that anyone who installs the latest version of the TikTok application for Android can benefit from the implemented solution for the problem, but those who have not installed it, are still vulnerable to attacks launched by hackers against them, unfortunately.

“Microsoft has discovered a critical vulnerability in the TikTok app for Android that could have allowed attackers to compromise user accounts with a single click. The vulnerability, which would have required multiple issues to exploit on-chain, has been fixed and we have found no evidence of exploitation in the wild.
Attackers could have exploited the vulnerability to hijack an account without users being aware if a targeted user clicked on a specially crafted link. Attackers were then able to access and modify TikTok profiles and users' sensitive information, such as posting private videos, sending messages and uploading videos on behalf of users."
