Meteorological Warning LAST TIME ANM Romania

The meteorological warning issued by ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, for Romania brings to the attention of people from a good part of the country the meteorological phenomena that will take place in the next two days and we are talking about rain in large quantities, but also with hail.

ANM talks below about the fact that in certain regions of the country, on the 8th and 10th of September, a yellow code was issued, and there will be heavy rains with isolated falls of hail, so it is good to know where this will happen in order to be able to protect you, and not be affected by what will happen.

CODE YELLOW WEATHER ALERT!

Targeted phenomena: temporarily increased atmospheric instability, significant amounts of water.

Validity period: 8 September, 22:00 – 10 September, 10:00.

Affected areas: as per text and map.

In the mentioned interval, in Crisana, Maramureș and in the north-west of Transylvania, there will be periods with torrential showers, electrical discharges, short-term intensification of the wind and isolated hail, and the amounts of water will exceed, in short intervals of time or through accumulation, local 25...30 l/sq m and on restricted areas, 40...50 l/sq m.

Note: Manifestations of atmospheric instability will be on Friday (September 9) also in Banat, the rest of Transylvania and the northern half of Moldova, and on Saturday (September 10) in most of the country.
