iPhone 14 Sales Disappoint, Apple Gives Up Production Increase

iPhone 14 sales are so disappointing for those at Apple that the company decided not to increase production for the phones, although it had initially announced to its partners about this measure to cover what it anticipated would be an increase in people's interest in dream-a- dream of new models.

Apple would have asked those from Foxconn, one of the companies that produces the iPhone 14 series, to increase production by at least 10%, or at least 6 million units, so that during the winter holidays the demand is covered, but the interest is reduced vis-a-vis the new models forced the Americans to give up the plan, according to Bloomberg.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Plus have recorded good sales so far, but the problems are with iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, the latter having sales below expectations, something that is not surprising, considering that many of the components the base are recycled from older models.

Apple will surely sell tens of millions of phones from the iPhone 14 series by the end of 2022, but it seems that an increase in production will not be needed to cover the demand from customers, something that ultimately does not come precisely as a very big surprise in the current global economic context.
