Minister of Education: LAST TIME, Important Declaration Targeting Romanians in the Country

Minister of Education LAST TIME Important Statement Aims at Romanians Country

The Minister of Education made a very important statement that targets millions of Romanians from all over the country, and this is because we are talking about his decision to be part of the International Theology Symposium, and there he held a press statement in which he praised the actions of the Church Romanian Orthodox during the Coronavirus pandemic and the war.

The Minister of Education talks about the great importance of the Romanian Church in society, including in schools throughout the country, the relationship between the school and the church being both necessary and welcome, and you can find more information in the official's statement below .

"In the current social context, caused by various types of crises, such as the health one, now marked by war and the crisis of energy resources, we are looking for more and more support and collaboration to respond to the needs of society (in a broad sense) and its citizens ( in the immediate, concrete sense). In such a context, the collaboration of state institutions, the integration of the action response from the non-governmental and entrepreneurial environment are mechanisms that have effects in improving the intersectoral action mode, in order to support communities and individuals to go well through periods of crisis.

Amid these challenges, the relationship between school, community and church is necessary and welcome. In this partnership, bridges of collaboration are created for the benefit of families, children and all members of the community. Above all, we appreciate the support offered, within disadvantaged communities, to children with reduced chances of school participation, through both material (clothing, supplies, food) and educational contributions (learning support, non-formal activities, community activities for adults - parents , elderly, families in need).

The church and the school have been collaborating closely for a long time, a partnership that has diversified and deepened, in an attempt to respond as promptly and efficiently as possible to problems in the communities, from the "grassroots".

We use this opportunity to affirm and appreciate their value: support situations for families with various social problems, support for students at risk (we mention here situations of school dropouts, single students, with parents gone abroad), the realization of extracurricular programs in the context non-formal, carrying out some classes and projects in school-church partnership. We are glad that the "Choose School!" project, carried out consistently by the Romanian Patriarchate with European funding and considered a model of good practice, continues and has meritorious effects.

We appreciate the support offered, within disadvantaged communities, to children with reduced chances of attending school, through both material (clothing, supplies, food) and educational contributions. The church and the school have been collaborating closely for a long time, a partnership that has diversified and deepened, in an attempt to respond as promptly and efficiently as possible to problems in the communities, from the "grassroots".
