The Minister of Health: 2 LAST-MINUTE Announcements with Major Changes of National Importance

Minister of Health 2 Announcements LAST TIME Major Changes of National Importance

The Minister of Health made 2 very important announcements that envisage changes with a major national impact for millions of Romanians, and this is because he officially announces that 1.200 files for the renovation of doctors' offices have been evaluated so far family, out of 1.887 applications submitted.

The Minister of Health also talks below about Romania's intention to buy the vaccines adapted against the new variants of the Coronavirus, but in much smaller quantities than those originally contracted years ago, but of course this will only be possible, based on the negotiations with vaccine manufacturers.

"The first 60 million euros from the PNRR will be allocated by the end of the year by the Ministry of Health for equipping and renovating family doctors' offices. The Ministry of Health team has already evaluated 1.200 funding files out of the 1.887 submitted by family doctors under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Of these, 1.000 applications have been approved for funding, and the list will be published shortly on the website of the Ministry of Health. For another 200 files, the evaluation team will request additional documents from family doctors, in order to approve them.

To improve primary medical care, the Ministry of Health published today, October 14, instruction no. 7 through which the offices of family doctors in disadvantaged areas (according to order MS/CNAS 391/187/2015) can upload funding files to the proiecte.pnrr.gov.ro website. Their financing will be done within the budget of 135 million euros. The projects within the PNRR dedicated to family doctors have a total budget of 180.450.000 € (without VAT) and are carried out by 2 methods.

1. Preselected list: An allocation of €135.337.500 (without VAT) which will finance 2.250 associations/family doctor's offices, where 815 files have been submitted to date. Applications are still being submitted for this category. 2. Non-competitive call: An allocation of €45.112.500 (without VAT) for a call for projects that will take place on the basis of the principle: "first come - first served" for the financing of 750 associations/family doctor's offices, where 1.072 funding applications have been submitted to date.

My opinion is that the vaccination campaign will continue, and will take the form of a seasonal vaccination campaign. We hope to have, to complete the negotiations, with the producers so that we can buy the new version of the vaccine against the Coronavirus, but in a smaller quantity than the one initially contracted, but I cannot make big comments on this topic."
