The Minister of Health says that if there were more medical personnel in Romania who would wash their hands before interacting with patients, then there is a very high chance that the risk of being affected by a nosocomial infection would decrease substantially in medical units in Romania, which of course everyone wants.
"I think that the situation has improved a lot and from this point of view, the pandemic has helped (ed. asked about the problem of hand washing by medical personnel in hospitals). It was an extremely supported campaign from the point of view of hygiene rules, and hand washing, and more, not just hand washing, but correct hand washing, because it makes a big difference.
