The Minister of Education sends an extremely important last-minute announcement with a series of measures that should be known by the students of schools all over Romania at the moment, and this is because it provides information about the investments that are to be made in grade schools in the country.
The Minister of Education talks below about the investments that will be made through PNRR for equipping classrooms, but also laboratories throughout Romania, hundreds of serious money to be invested by the authorities so that students have better conditions for carrying out their activities daily.
"Through the local public administration authorities, established at the county level, respectively through the county councils and the Bucharest City Council, which will have the quality of eligible applicants in this call, pre-university education units with legal personality, including those that operate within higher education institutions, as well as clubs, sports clubs and children's palaces, county psycho-pedagogical assistance centers will be equipped with ICT equipment, furniture and educational and sports materials, through PNRR funding.
All the goods and equipment purchased through the future projects by the CJ/CGMB will be offered for free use to the final beneficiaries of the investments, to be used exclusively for teaching, sports and extracurricular activities with the students/children. Within this call, 4 major types of investments will be supported. Digitization of learning environments in pre-university education, by purchasing computer equipment necessary for the didactic process.
Equipping computer laboratories in schools in the national education network at all levels, including children's palaces, clubs and sports clubs, as well as in the vocational and technical education network. Equipping classrooms and sports spaces in palaces and sports clubs with furniture, equipping cabinets, psycho-pedagogical assistance cabinets and science laboratories, as well as establishing new ones, in the situation where there are spaces available in the educational unit or in other types of eligible institutions in the call (palaces, clubs, sports clubs).
This call meets the targets assumed by Romania through the PNRR, namely: 5.200 equipped computer laboratories, 3.600 schools with primary, secondary and high school level classes equipped with IT equipment for the digitization of learning resources, 909 computer laboratories in education and training schools professional.
75.000 classrooms/rooms for extracurricular or sports activities, equipped with furniture, 10.000 laboratories/offices from the pre-university education system, including psycho-pedagogical assistance offices. The total financial allocation of the call for projects is 977.360.200 euros, without VAT, eligible value from the PNRR."
