The Minister of Health Announces LAST MINUTE Measures Taken Hospitals Romania

The Minister of Health explains in a new very important statement how serious is one of the problems facing Romania and the entire medical system at the moment, and this is because it brings to the attention of Romanians the problem of the lack of doctors in hospitals and other units medical.

The Minister of Health also talks below about the measures that have been taken up to now, and that will be taken in the future in order to reduce the intensity of this problem, to the point where it will finally be solved, even if for this to happen it will take a lot of time.

"Things that are sustainable, that can be solved, and represent gains for the health system, for people's trust in the health system, are things that are realized in time, if there are two conditions: a plan, this is the first condition, I am committed that we are making this plan, and we are starting to work on it concretely, but there must be sustainability of this plan.

This means that no matter who comes to the ministry, or to the Government, to follow this plan, so that it is fulfilled, because we are very good at startups, but we have no patience for the completion of these projects. We want to solve in a day, or a week, to solve what has not been solved in 30 years, but it is not possible, especially if you are talking about the professional training of doctors.

This is a complex process, and for this reason I did something different compared to my predecessors, I don't know if it is good, but I think it is. In this project, we took as partners the universities of medicine and pharmacy in Romania, plus the faculties of medicine, because they can train there, together with them we can develop regional projects.

There are 6 universities, plus 6 other faculties that are part of multidisciplinary universities, and I think this is the only solution. We cannot invent other things, since the professional expertise, teachers, and people who can teach young doctors and students are in the universities. We work together in this project, we have a partnership with the organization of medical universities.

The goal is to offer this country a project and a favorable perspective in terms of human resources in health. There are 6.000 doctors in France, many of them family doctors who we would have needed, that's why we said that regulation is needed, we need thorough training in universities, or in hospitals that are approved by universities."
