During November 21-22, the Secretary of State, head of the Department for Emergency Situations, Dr. Raed Arafat, participated in the EU Host Nation Support TTX virtual simulation exercise, under the auspices of the "Host Nation Support outside the European Union - HNS" project outside the EU''.

By applying different virtual reality scenarios, the exercise puts the participant in difficult situations, its objective being to increase the level of consolidation and response in the event of disasters, the development of the emergency intervention system, the continuous training of professionals in this field, namely doctors, assistants , firefighters, but also the improvement of cooperation processes for a quick and efficient reaction in a real situation.

The exercise is taking place in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, involving 66 participants from 12 countries and running until Friday 25 November.

This exercise and implicitly the other activities in the field of civil protection that will follow are concretely oriented towards strengthening bilateral relations in the field of emergency management between Romania and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
