Kyiv residents will receive less electricity every day

The residents of Kiev will have electricity for only 2-3 hours every day in the next period, and this is because of the bombings that Russia has carried out in recent weeks, yesterday a very large part of the Capital of Ukraine remained completely without electricity, according to the mayor.

In any case, Kiev had a limited supply of electricity in recent weeks due to the fact that Russia destroyed a lot of civil infrastructure with the bombings it carries out, so it remains to be seen to what extent the Ukrainian authorities will manage to keep the situation somewhat normal.

"Electricity for the residents of Kyiv will be reduced to 2-3 hours a day until the power is fully restored. Dmytro Saharuk, chief executive of Ukraine's largest private energy company, DTEK, said on November 24 that the city's critical infrastructure had been restored.

Saharuk said electricity has been restored to about 30 percent of the city's residents. It appears that DTEK will return to scheduled power outages once the system is stabilized.”
