The Minister of Education Announces IMPORTANT Decision The Future of Romanian School Students

The Minister of Education announced a very important decision for the future of students in Romania, and this is because it brings to people's attention what will happen in the schools of our country on the part of the national strategy regarding education for the environment and climate change, a project that covers the period 2023 – 2030.

The Minister of Education explains below part of what is behind the decision to help Romanian students learn more about climate change, and this is because protecting the planet is one of the most important things that humanity must do to ensure their existence.

"The Ministry of Education is organizing on January 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., in a videoconference system, the public debate on the draft Government Decision for the approval of the National Strategy on Education for the Environment and Climate Change 2023-2030. The draft law subject to public debate can be consulted here.

All interested parties are invited to participate in the online system: natural and legal persons, civil society organizations, commercial companies, representatives of interested public institutions, representatives of the media, within the limit of 100 people. Registration will be done electronically through a message sent to the e-mail address debateripublice@edu.gov.ro, until January 11, 2023, at 16:30 p.m.

The registration will include: the name and surname of the participant/legal representative, as the case may be, the organization they represent, contact details, telephone number, email address to which the login link will be sent, as well as confirmation of participation in debate. People interested in verbally presenting their proposal in the public debate are asked to register at the previously mentioned e-mail address and will have 3 minutes for the presentation.

Proposals will be made in writing, in electronic format (word), specifying the sections, chapters, articles of the draft normative act to which reference is made, through the attached form (available below, under the Informative materials tag) and will send to the previously mentioned email address by January 11, 2023, at 16:30 p.m.

In the situation where the proposed proposals are significant, the time dedicated to supporting them can be extended, once, by another 3 minutes, by the person coordinating the public debate. Taking the floor by the participant/legal representative will take place in the order of registration for participation in the public debate."
