The Minister of Health Announces Decisions of NATIONAL IMPORTANCE Necessary Romanians

The Minister of Health announces a series of decisions of national importance that are necessary for millions of Romanians throughout the country at the moment, and this is because he is talking about the types of investments that are to be made in the idea of building new hospitals to treat people who need help.

The Minister of Health also talks below about how some of the money allocated in the budgets will be spent for various projects that have been, or have not been, carried out up to now, there being many that need allocations additional to be completed on time now.

"The Minister of Health, Prof. Univ. Dr. Alexandru Rafila signs the first four financing contracts for the new hospital infrastructure, within the PNRR for: Construction of the Cardiovascular Surgical Center at the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases and Transplantation in Târgu Mureș. Construction of a new building at the Bistrita County Emergency Hospital.

The relocation and modernization of the oncology department and the establishment of the interventional cardiology department for the Alba Iulia County Emergency Hospital. Recompartmentalization of the existing building and expansion with a new body (neurosurgery clinical section – vascular-cerebral pathology and neurosurgery center) at the Cluj County Emergency Clinical Hospital.

There are 3 burn centers that need to be built, unfortunately we found them blocked at the ministry, we managed to draw a project to unblock these 3 major investments that have an impact on the intervention in situations where patients with severe burns, and we have a plus in mind, we cannot detach ourselves from the Collective episode, and I think we all want to find a solution for this category of patients.

They must be treated in the best possible conditions, the project from Targu Mures, others from Bucharest were unblocked, and we found a way to finance them, because when we came to the ministry, their financing was blocked , it seemed impossible to continue, but we succeeded together with the team of colleagues, a very good one at the ministry, and the answer is that we managed to unlock this project and that it can receive funding.

There is very little money left from the ministry that will not be operationalized. We will use all the money that was allocated to us, some of it being allocated for investments, including the consultancy money. We found a lot of allocations of money for consultancy at the ministry, and we started to save, for example the consultancy related to the training of human resources had a large amount of 50 million euros, of which we used only 30, the rest being redirected to the investment side."
