Austria: Nehammer's Official Decision with Denmark, LAST MINUTE Announcement for Romania

Austria Official Decision Nehammer Denmark LAST MINUTE Announcement Romania

Austria made an extremely important official decision together with Denmark, Karl Nehammer finding an ally in the northern part of Europe, and Minister Gerhard Karner announced today that the countries will work together to convince the European Commission to impose procedures fast for immigrants in third countries, not in the EU.

Austria and Denmark also want agreements with third countries so that illegal migrants who have arrived in Europe, and whose asylum applications have been rejected, can be deported more quickly to their countries of origin, Karner stating that more and more EU countries I support the application of measures of this kind, and there is nothing wrong here.

Austria wants to strengthen the external borders of the European Commission, as does Denmark, and in theory this process should speed up Romania's accession to Schengen, but no one knows how long it will take for it to be implemented, and how long will it take for our country to be officially accepted.

"There has been a lot of movement in the migration discussions at EU level in recent months. Specifically, for example, the agreement that the protection of external borders must be jointly financed. The need for fast procedures at external borders is also almost universal.

Also, the issue of the Danish way is something that is being discussed and debated more intensively, in view of the controversial asylum centers outside of Europe. Many countries are skeptical, but even states that are against it are now looking at it. That is why we continue to rely on a European solution. Austria is the oldest and strongest partner in this struggle at the European level."
