Marcel Bolos: LAST MINUTE measures of the Government, which Romanians are Targeted

Marcel Bolos LAST-HOUR measures of the Romanian Government Targeted

Marcel Bolos officially reveals what new last-minute measures have been taken by the Government of Romania at the current time, and this is because the authorities in our country have officially decided to provide support to people living on the street, significant sums of money being allocated for this purpose by them, according to the PSD minister.

Marcel Bolos also talks about the measures taken for vulnerable Romanians through the energy cards, and this is because even there it was decided to grant even larger amounts of money to help people cope with the major increases in energy prices in Romania.

"Each one counts. Not many of us think at night before sleep that there are people who have never known the warmth of a home or the comfort of a bed. They can be former economists, entrepreneurs or engineers, none of them imagined that one day they could end up on the streets. The data shows that homeless people mostly live in urban areas.

Mainly in cities where the county is located (over 85%), the phenomenon being more significant among men, and 1 out of 10 are children. It is estimated that 20.000 Romanians are in this situation at the national level. In #RomaniaViitorului they are not left behind. Not only will we dedicate European funds to inclusion programs, but we also focus on their immediate needs.

That is precisely why we launched the call guide for consultation through which we will offer them support packages: for people who actually live on the street: underwear, clothing and footwear adapted to the cold season (socks, winter pants, thermal pants, sweater, hooded jacket , boots/boots, gloves, hat, scarf), backpack, flashlight and sleeping bags; for people and families living in makeshift housing: underwear, clothing and footwear adapted to the cold season (socks, winter pants, thermal pants, sweater, hooded jacket, boots/boots, gloves, hat, scarf), warm blankets, blankets , bed linen and sanitary materials.

The support granted to vulnerable people for compensating energy prices has a nominal value of 1.400 lei, can be used until December 31, 2023 and is granted per place of consumption/vulnerable household, in two installments, as follows: 700 lei/semester, granted starting from February 2023; 700 lei/semester, granted starting in September 2023.

The support can be used until December 27, 2023, for the payment of the following services/products: electricity, thermal energy supplied in a centralized regime, gas, cylinder, butane, firewood, sawdust, coal, fuel oil, pellets, briquettes, fuels liquid or solid and any other heating materials that can be used to heat homes."
