Marius Budai: LAST HOUR Announcements with Solutions for the Current CRISIS in Romania

Marius Budai LAST MINUTE Announcements Solutions CRISIS Current Romania

Marius Budai decided to make an important last-minute announcement regarding the solutions that must be applied for the major crisis that Romania is currently going through, and this is because he explains everything that is taken into account to solve the grievances of the teachers, when it comes about salary requirements.

Marius Budai explains the fact that there are various work scenarios for solving teachers' salary problems, including percentage increases in salaries in 2023, and in the course of the next 2-3 years, so that various measures are being tried to help unlock the general strike in education, from now.

"Thus, an increase in teachers' salaries is being considered, in relation to the minimum salary, and this scenario is on the table. It is premature to discuss now (ed. 60% increase in salaries in 3 years), but it is a working scenario. All your requests are on the table. I would like this union strike to end as soon as possible.

The salary increase will not be applied only to beginning teachers, but to all teaching staff. The period is extremely sensitive. I said from the beginning that out of respect for our teachers, I will avoid talking about sums of money and offers on TV. I could go back a bit in history, and see why we are in this situation now.

The fact that the salary law has not been applied for two years and people are really at the end of their patience, but I see that from Mr. President to the two leaders of the coalition, we are also making every effort to have these discussions. I think now they have to tell the union leaders about the new talks. I believe that any other inappropriate intervention would not be welcome, out of respect for the children, for the children's parents and for our teachers.

"I believe and am firmly convinced that now is the time to be extremely careful about what we declare and what we do, especially in the situation in which you saw, the leaders of the coalition met with Mr. president, they have arrived at the Government and will be in discussion with the union leaders in the next hour.

I think I think it's time that we all be extremely thoughtful, that we all make every effort to bring closure to this situation. It was very clearly discussed when the union leaders were at the Ministry of Labor, that the discussions on the next salary scale will start from this principle. We will respect whatever the coalition leaders will now convey to the union leaders."
