European Commission: Artificial Intelligence Has No Right to Free Expression

The European Commission officially announces the fact that, based on current legislation, artificial intelligence does not guarantee the right to free expression, so that any kind of content on the Internet must be specially marked, if it is generated by artificial intelligence systems, according to the European Commissioner, Vera Jurova.

The European Commission will oblige all large IT companies to clearly mark the content of the platforms, which is generated by artificial intelligence systems, so that their users do not become victims of disinformation that is generated by systems of this kind, of course without people knowing what happens.

"When it comes to production generated by artificial intelligence, I see no right for machines to have freedom of speech. Signatories to the EU Code of Practice against Disinformation should implement technology to recognize AI content and clearly label users."
