Real-time audio processors and high-performance microphones power Dynamic Driver X, specially designed to reproduce extended frequencies, deep bass and clear vocals. The WF-1000XM5 now features three microphones on each earcup, including dual feedback microphones that improve low frequency cancellation performance. This is Sony's biggest advancement in noise cancellation ever, resulting in even more accurately captured ambient sound.
Recently developed by Sony, the Integrated Processor V2 unlocks the potential of the QN2e HD Noise Canceling Processor. In addition, these headphones are about 25% smaller and about 20% lighter than the previous model (WF-1000XM4), which makes them more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
The noise-isolating in-ears are made from an exclusive material that not only improves the fit, but also increases comfort by reducing pressure in the ear thanks to a newly designed shape. In addition, the headphones are available in four different sizes, including the ultra-small SS, so users can choose the perfect fit based on their ear shape.

The WF-1000XM5 uses recycled plastic materials and adopts Sony's Original Blended Material paper for packaging. Original Blended Material is an eco-friendly paper material made from bamboo, sugar cane fibers and post-consumer recycled paper.

The WF-1000XM5 model will be available from August 2023, at a price of approximately 1581 lei.
