Sorin Grindeanu has extremely good news for Romanians throughout the country, and this is because the projects financed by PNRR, for section 1 of the A8 Motorway, are on track, the winner of the auction having 6 months for design and 24 for execution.

Sorin Grindeanu also talks to us about the bypass version of the city of Comarnic, the one that will relieve the city of traffic and reduce the huge queues on DN 1, on the way to the mountain, it will be built in a period of 24 months.

Sorin Grindeanu, Minister of Transport: All projects financed from #PNRR enter, from today, in the straight line with the designation of the winner for Section 1 of the Târgu Mureș - Târgu Neamț Motorway, part of the A8 Motorway!

The Târgu Mureș-Miercurea Nirajului highway section is 24,4 km long and includes the construction of the connecting road with the Translivania Highway.

The Turkish contractor will have a maximum of 6 months for the design stage and 24 months for the execution stage.

The contract with a value of 2,46 billion lei (without VAT) includes the construction of 36 bridges, passages and viaducts, including a passage with a length of 256 meters.

The Târgu Mureș-Târgu Neamț highway will cross the Carpathians and provide the first connection between #Moldova and #Transylvania on a high-speed route.

Start of the works on the Comarnic Bypass Variant! VO #Comarnic will have a length of 6 km on a national road profile with 2 lanes (1 in each direction), and its configuration is thought to allow including the road connection between DN1 and the future Ploiești-Brașov Highway, when this highway will be built .

The project has a value of 236 million lei (without VAT) and is carried out by the Prahova County Council in partnership with #CNAIR.

The contract has a duration of 24 months, of which 21 months are the execution phase.
