Lewis Hamilton Talks Big Problems Formula 1 Mercedes

Mercedes' iconic Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has spoken about the moment he realized Formula 14's new W1 was in significant trouble. Hamilton, who has yet to add to his 103 career wins over the past two seasons, shared with BBC Sport the moment he realized the W14 was no better than its predecessor.

Lewis Hamilton had a good year personally, finishing third in the championship and scoring six podiums in Formula 1. He stressed the importance of mindset and working closely with the team to maximize the car's potential, even in difficult conditions, or after many failures in the races in front of rivals from Red Bull.

Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes team are proving that even in the face of technical adversity and regulation changes in Formula 1, resilience and determination can lead to positive results. This fighting spirit and adaptability are essential in the dynamic and highly competitive world of each Formula 1 season.

"I remember feeling exactly the same, comparing both cars. And that was definitely not a great feeling. I really had high hopes. In February, when I downloaded where the car was going, I was a little more worried, because the previous year told me.

"The car is amazing, it's unique, nobody will have anything like it." And then we come to the first test. So, I was a little more cautious when I was listening and said, "We'll see." And then the car had all these problems. I just knew it was going to be a long year. I'm sure there were frustrations, because we had asked for certain changes, and they weren't made."
