The Romanian Army officially transmits information regarding the last-minute measures taken by NATO in Romania, in the midst of war, 6 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of Great Britain being sent to our country, for air police missions, while the soldiers of the Battalions 813 and 21 trained together in Sfantu Gheorghe.

The Romanian Army also talks about the patenting course for mechanics who drive amphibious armored personnel carriers, but also about a program run by the Military Academy in Lisbon in Romania, regarding the use of artificial intelligence in teaching foreign languages.

"Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft have landed at Mihail Kogălniceanu. Six Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) landed on Monday, March 25, at Air Base 57 from Mihail Kogălniceanu in Constanța county. The British detachment, made up of approximately 200 military personnel (pilots and technical personnel) and Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, will perform, together with the Romanian Air Force, Enhanced Air Policing missions under NATO command, in the next four months.

This is the fifth rotation at Mihail Kogălniceanu of the Royal British Air Force, after those carried out in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022. The reinforced air police missions, carried out jointly with NATO partners, starting from 2014, are planned from time and contributes to the development of reaction and deterrence capacity, as well as to the strengthening of interoperability between the Romanian and allied Air Forces.

Joint training! Soldiers from the 813th "Maramureș" Infantry Battalion together with soldiers belonging to the 21st Mechanized Infantry Battalion from the 2nd "Ștefan cel Mare" Motorized Infantry Brigade from the Republic of Moldova perfected their skills during a training exercise in the field, held in the instruction Paiș, from Sfântu Gheorghe.

For two weeks, at the headquarters of the 811th "Dej" Infantry Battalion, the "Patenting Course for Mechanics, Conductors, Armored Amphibious Transporters" was held, organized by the Logistics Improvement Base of the Land Forces. The trainees went through a complex training program, both theoretical and practical. Between March 18 and 20, the Military Academy in Lisbon organized the pilot activity entitled "The use of artificial intelligence in the teaching of foreign languages". The event, organized under the auspices of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Officers (EMILYO), had the main purpose of promoting the teaching of courses in English and encouraging the participation of teachers from European military higher education institutions in international professional training workshops.
