Nicușor Dan Official Announcements LAST MOMENT Millions of Bucharest

Nicușor Dan, the general mayor of Bucharest, called on the citizens of Bucharest to actively participate in the local elections on June 9, emphasizing the importance of the involvement of young people in the destiny of the city. "I also left the country, but I came back to fight for a Bucharest where you want to live," said Nicușor Dan in a recent speech.

Nicușor Dan, during his campaign, collected thousands of signatures to support his candidacy, a process he says was not easy at all. "I don't care what you're concerned about," he added, expressing his commitment to responding to citizens' concerns.

Another problem brought up by Nicușor Dan is the difficult situation of the IG Duca School in sector 5, where students are forced to go to classes in an inappropriate office building, without adequate facilities for sports activities. This, despite the promises of the mayor of sector 5, Cristian Popescu Piedone, which have not yet been honored, even a year after the students were moved to this location.

Nicușor Dan invites the citizens of Bucharest to join him at the official submission of the candidacy and signature lists, an event that will take place on April 25, at 16:30 p.m., at the headquarters of the Electoral Office of the Municipality of Bucharest.

Nicușor Dan also emphasized the importance of access to public transport, mentioning the operation of bus line 100, which connects the center of Bucharest with the "Henri Coandă" Otopeni International Airport, and which serves as a link between the main points of the city, ensuring a frequency of 15 minutes during the day and 30 minutes during the night.

"I believe with all my heart that a city has strength when young people choose to live in it," concluded Nicușor Dan, expressing his hope that through the measures he proposes, he will succeed in convincing young people to stay and contribute to the development of Bucharest.
