Electrical officially announces a decision taken by the Board of Directors which approved the establishment of a joint-venture company together with EsyaSoft Holding Ltd., part of the International Holding Company (IHC) group. This collaboration aims at the production and operation of advanced green energy technologies for the national and European market.

Electrical says that the new company will have a capital structure in which Electrica owns 25% and EsyaSoft 75%. Through this company, Electrica will contribute to the construction of production units for green energy equipment, including storage solutions and digitization of the electricity distribution network, such as smart meters. The project also includes the development and operation of an infrastructure for charging electric vehicles.

Electrica estimates that the new business segments will respond to the growing demand at national and European level, generating new jobs and bringing direct and indirect benefits to all the Electrica Group's core activities. The partnership with EsyaSoft represents a significant step towards achieving the company's strategic goals, focused on innovation and sustainability.

Electrica reveals the decision based on which the initial share capital of the new company will be 90.000 lei, with subsequent financing estimated at 100 million euros, provided proportionally by the two shareholders. Electrica and EsyaSoft will regulate the method of financing through an agreement between the shareholders, thus guaranteeing the sustainability of the project.
