The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, to want to adopt a new Government Decision that aims to implement new methodological norms that regulate the expenses for the organization and development of the Olympics, school, extracurricular and extracurricular competitions, profile camps, symposia and other specific activities.
Minister of Education also mentions that the new rules establish the amount of financial incentives for award-winning students, the teachers who trained them and the educational units from which they come, everything being thought to support educational performance.
The Government Decision also establishes that the members of the central commissions of the national school competitions, of the working groups of the central commissions, members of the commissions for organizing extracurricular education projects, members of the commissions that carry out the centralized preparation of the national teams for the international stage of the school competitions participating in international competitions organized by the Ministry of Education in the country benefit from accommodation and meals in hotels up to three stars inclusive and the same facilities of transportation that the students have.
The rights of students, teaching staff and experts in the field provided by the new methodological norms, as well as the expenses for organizing and running school competitions, are covered by a series of well-established financing measures.
Expenses related to rents for performance and conference halls, sports campuses or structures, diplomas, medals, posters, banners, plaques, trophies, stamps, souvenirs, promotional materials, excursions, visits, shows, advertising, publications, rental of means of transport transport and electronic equipment, logistics and laboratory materials, consumables.
the payment of guides and translators at international school competitions, as well as other activities are divided as follows: for the county, Bucharest municipality, inter-county and regional stages, the funding is provided by the organizing educational units, from the own revenues of the local budgets of the administrative units territories to which they belong. Transport expenses are borne by the educational units of origin, from their own revenues of the local budgets.
The Minister of Education states that at the national level, the ministry covers the costs from the funds allocated to school inspectorates and educational units that organize this stage of school competitions. An exception is the transport costs for students and teaching staff from pre-university education who accompany students from a single county or the Municipality of Bucharest, these costs being borne by the educational units from their own revenues of the local budgets.
For the transport of pre-university teaching staff who accompany students from two or more counties to this stage of the school competition, the expenses are covered by the Ministry of Education from the funds allocated to the school inspectorates of origin.
The Ministry also provides accommodation, meals and transport for teaching staff from pre-university education, teaching staff from university education and for experts in the field, members of central commissions and working groups, members of commissions for organizing extracurricular education projects and members of juries .
For the centralized preparation of the national batches, the Ministry of Education covers the expenses from the funds allocated to the county school inspectorate or the Bucharest municipality which organize this activity.
