The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, recently announced the approval of the Government Decision Project regarding an extremely important measure for the operationalization of the National Single Reporting Platform in Higher Education (PNRUIS).
Minister of Education transmits that the project, stipulated in the Higher Education Law, received the approval of the Social Dialogue Commission, marking a significant moment for the efficiency of the administrative process in university education in Romania.
PNRUIS is an innovative digital solution that promises to simplify the collection and reporting of data from higher education. According to the minister Ligia Deca, this platform will eliminate the informational overlaps and the multiple reporting sessions to which the universities were subject until now.
"Through PNRUIS, we standardize the data collection process from higher education, eliminate redundancies and ensure access to updated information for all interested parties: higher education institutions, the National Institute of Statistics and the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education," he declared Ligia Deca.
The Minister of Education conveys that the platform will be an essential tool for complying with the reporting requirements to international organizations and structures such as the European Education Area, the European Higher Education Area, OECD and UNESCO.
This will contribute to Romania's alignment with European and international standards in the field of education, facilitating deeper integration into the global academic community.
Another major benefit of PNRUIS is the reduction of the administrative workload for universities. Higher education institutions will no longer have to report the same data about students, teachers or graduates repeatedly, which will free up resources for educational and research activities.
The Minister of Education makes it clear that this initiative, which will be adopted by Government Decision, underlines the commitment of the Ministry of Education to modernize and digitize the educational system in Romania, offering the academic community a more efficient and transparent framework.
