Volodymyr Zelensky Denounces New Russian Attacks Message Ukrainians

Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom, a day in which it remembers the two revolutions that marked the country's history and honors the fundamental values of the Ukrainian people. President Volodymyr Zelenski sent an emotional message, emphasizing the significance of the day and highlighting the continuous challenges that the country faces from Russia.

"Today we celebrate what it really means to be Ukrainian. The Day of Dignity and Freedom is an opportunity to remember the supreme price paid for the freedom of Ukraine and to honor all those who, over time, fought for our independence," Zelensky said.

Volodymyr Zelensky denounced Russia's actions, describing them as an expression of fear and contempt for freedom and human life. "Today, our crazy neighbor showed again who he really is. He is frightened by the very idea of dignity, of freedom, of a normal life that exists near him. Putin is turning Ukraine into a testing ground for his weapons, including new missiles that, according to experts' assessments, have characteristics similar to those of an intercontinental ballistic missile."

Zelenski pointed out that Russia continues to look for weapons in Iran and North Korea, while intensifying attacks on Ukraine. However, the president expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainians who, with courage and dignity, defend their country. "Dignity is one of the key words for Ukraine, but it is a word that will probably never be used to describe Russia again," he added.

In the context of concerns about the new threats, Zelenski called for calm and vigilance. "Today, on the 1.001st day of the full-scale war, Russia remains as mad as it was on the first day. Airborne alarms must be taken seriously. However, panic and alarmist messages only serve Russia's interests."

He urged the population to support the army and to be aware of emotional manipulations. At the same time, he reiterated Ukraine's commitment to strengthen its air defense and to ensure its future as a free and sovereign state.

"Thanks to our people and their undying desire for freedom, Ukraine will always remain on the political map of the world - always free, always sovereign," Zelensky concluded.

The Day of Dignity and Freedom is a moment of reflection and inspiration for Ukraine and for the world. It recalls the sacrifices made over time and reaffirms faith in a future based on respect, independence and the right to live in freedom.
