Official Projects LAST MOMENT Minister of Education Education Decisions Series

The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, announced a very important decision of the ministry that he leads, and this is because the applicant's guide for the non-competitive call for projects entitled "Facilitating informed access and active participation in education programs, in accordance with the interests and competencies of the students, was released for public consultation , as well as with the needs of the labor market". This call for projects has an allocated budget of 27.959.559 euros.

Minister of Education officially conveys the fact that the eligible projects within this call aim to develop and expand the counseling and professional guidance services offered by CJRAE, CMBRAE and school counseling offices.

Also, the aim is to provide information services, counseling, individual coaching, guidance and vocational evaluations for students and their families, with the aim of realistically identifying students' interests and competencies, options for continuing their studies and career plans.

Another objective is to update the competences of the personnel who provide counseling and guidance in the educational units, in accordance with the current needs of the students and the trends of the labor market. In parallel, the Ministry of Education launched in public consultation the draft Order regarding the approval of the Methodology for the allocation and use of the fund for the institutional development of state higher education institutions for the year 2025.

The Minister of Education points out that the fund will be allocated based on competitive criteria, established by the National Commission for the Financing of Higher Education. For the year 2025, universities can submit projects in areas such as increasing social equity by promoting inclusion and increasing access to higher education.

Internationalization of higher education in Romania; ensuring the optimal functioning of university infrastructures such as botanical gardens, teaching centers and practice bases; supporting Student Entrepreneurial Societies (SAS) within higher education institutions; improving the quality of teaching activity, including compliance with deontology and academic ethics.

Development of institutional capacity for research in universities; correlation of the educational offer with the requirements of the labor market, including through counseling and career guidance projects; and supporting the participation and access of students with disabilities to the educational process.

The Ministry of Education invites all involved actors to participate in the public consultation process and to contribute with Motions for the improvement of these initiatives aimed at modernizing the Romanian educational system.
