If a new Parliament will be constituted based on the elections of December 1, then it will be able to vote for a new Government in office, and this government will have the obligation to set the date of the next presidential elections in 2025, at least 75 days after the Decision by the Government is adopted, so that the entire electoral process is taken from the beginning.
Under these conditions, the 2025 presidential elections could take place sometime around March, at the earliest, if the future Government of Romania will be put into office in 2024, and in the first days of 2025 it will decide the date of the future elections, so having so much many unknowns in this equation, it is possible that the future presidential elections will take place even in April - May.
