Minister of Education brings to the attention of Romanians across the country a very important decision, and this is because it announced the launch of a new undergraduate university study program called "Early Education", intended for the training of teachers specialized in pre-university education.

Minister of Education officially reveals that this program is designed to facilitate graduates' access to a career in early childhood education, focusing on pre-school education for children between 3 months and 3 years of age and preschool education for children between 3 and 6 years of age.

The duration of the program is three years, offering a total of 180 ECTS/SECT credits, which ensures a solid academic preparation adapted to European standards. The curriculum is structured to develop essential teaching skills, necessary to support the cognitive, social, physical and emotional development of children, thus preparing them for the transition to primary education.

The Minister of Education mentioned that the curriculum of the program has been carefully developed to clearly define and delimit the general and specialized competencies required for teachers in this field. These plans align with the current needs of society and the requirements of the educational system, ensuring training adapted to the modern context.

The curriculum structure is divided into three main areas: fundamental elements of early childhood education knowledge, specific curriculum and pedagogical practice, and research elements in educational sciences. This organization allows graduates to gain a deep understanding of teaching methodologies and effective strategies for learning.

The Minister of Education emphasizes that faculties and departments organizing this program are encouraged to include modular subjects, thus facilitating participation in internships, including international mobility opportunities.
