ANM, National Meteorological Administration, officially reveals the latest weather forecast with the weather conditions in Romania for the period April 28 - May 11, 2025, announcing a synoptic evolution marked by thermal oscillations and episodes of moderate precipitation.

ANM says that, based on the numerical products of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), temperatures will be higher in most regions until the end of April, followed by a temporary decrease, then by a new warming towards the middle of the forecast interval. ANM estimates are locally adapted using statistical models, in order to capture regional climatic particularities as accurately as possible.

In Banat, a progressive warming will be felt, so that around April 30, the average daytime highs could reach up to 24 °C. At the beginning of May, the values ​​will drop slightly, to 18–19 °C, and then return to a comfortable threshold of 21–24 °C. Nighttime lows will fluctuate moderately, generally between 8 and 10 °C. ANM meteorologists warn that the probability of showers will increase after May 2, bringing possible isolated electrical discharges.

In Crişana, the increase in maximum temperatures will also stop at the threshold of 24 °C on April 30, followed by a cooling of approximately 6–7 °C that will be maintained until May 5. Subsequently, the thermal regime will be an ascending one again, with average maximums of 22–23 °C towards the end of the interval. Minimum temperatures will oscillate between 7 and 10 °C, with cooler nights at the beginning of May. ANM signals an increased risk of showers starting on May 3.

Transylvania will see an increase in average highs to around 23 °C in the first three forecast days, followed by a gradual cooling to 18 °C on May 5. Towards the middle of the range, daytime temperatures will return to values ​​around 21–22 °C. Nighttime lows will increase from around 2 °C on April 28 to 7 °C at the beginning of May, then they will vary between 5 and 8 °C. ANM specifies that although showers will be isolated before May 1, after this date they will be more widespread.

In Maramureş, the weather warms up slightly until April 30, with highs reaching 23 °C, but will then drop by around 7 °C for a few days. Afterwards, daytime values ​​will rise again to 21–22 °C. Lows will be between 3 and 9 °C, with cooler nights immediately after May 1. ANM warns that the probability of showers will increase as we enter May.

The regions of Moldova and Dobrogea will also have a predominantly fine start to May. In Moldova, highs will range between 19 and 23 °C, and lows between 7 and 10 °C, with an increase in precipitation after May 1. In Dobrogea, the first two days will be cool (highs of 15 °C, lows of 4–5 °C), followed by a warming up to 22 °C and lows of 9–11 °C; the risk of showers increases after May 3.

In Muntenia and Oltenia, the ANM estimates highs of 24–25 °C until May 1, then variations between 20 and 25 °C, and lows between 7 and 11 °C. There will be intervals with isolated showers from May 1 and on more extensive areas after May 4. In the mountains, highs will oscillate between 9 and 14 °C, and lows between 0 and 5 °C, with periods of instability starting at the end of April.
