ENGIE, the Romanian energy group that currently serves a very large number of customers across the country, has launched a new campaign dedicated to individual customers, aimed at accelerating the adoption of electronic invoices and reducing paper consumption.

ENGIE states that between June 23 and September 30, 2025, those who activate their email invoice have the chance to win prizes that will bring them comfort and savings: from an Ariston heating plant accompanied by a Siemens wireless thermostat, to one of the 122 Kaufland vouchers, with values between 100 and 500 lei. For ENGIE, the transition to digital billing represents a strategic priority, which combines the speed of services with environmental protection.

ENGIE says that the process of activating the electronic invoice is simple and fast. Customers must access the website and fill in the necessary fields to receive their invoice directly in their inbox. Immediately after issuance, the invoice by e-mail reaches the recipient, giving them the freedom to view it and pay from wherever they are. Through this measure, ENGIE aims to modernize the relationship with users, eliminating waiting times for receiving the envelope and optimizing the payment process.

In addition to the advantage of accessing the bill in real time, campaign participants contribute to protecting the environment by reducing paper consumption. ENGIE emphasizes that, with each document sent electronically, natural resources are saved and the amount of waste generated is reduced. Thus, the company reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility, inviting its customers to adopt environmentally friendly solutions.

ENGIE rewards customers who activate electronic billing

ENGIE emphasizes that the prizes bring added motivation for users of the e-mail invoice. The Ariston boiler, accompanied by a Siemens wireless thermostat, represents a complete package for making home heating more efficient, and the 122 Kaufland vouchers, distributed as follows: two vouchers of 500 lei, twenty vouchers of 250 lei, forty vouchers of 200 lei and sixty vouchers of 100 lei, offer flexibility in purchasing food products and daily goods.

All of these will be awarded by drawing lots, and confirmation of participation will be sent by email within a maximum of 15 working days from the completion of the electronic invoice activation.

ENGIE representatives announced that, although the official campaign period is until September 30, 2025, there is a possibility of extending it depending on the pace of registration and the interest shown by customers. In the context in which more and more utility companies are moving towards digitalization, ENGIE aims to remain a pioneer of innovation in the energy field, offering fast and secure services, aligned with modern consumer needs.

In addition to the immediate benefits, e-invoicing also brings long-term advantages: electronic archiving of invoices becomes easier, eliminating the risk of losing documents; e-mail notifications can be configured to remind customers of payment deadlines; and the invoice dispute process can be managed online, quickly. ENGIE emphasizes that all these features are designed to offer customers the most convenient and secure experience possible.

Through the "Give up the envelope and win!" campaign, ENGIE demonstrates that innovation and environmental care can go hand in hand with offering concrete advantages to users. By activating the e-mail invoice, each ENGIE customer not only benefits from modern and efficient services, but also automatically enters a raffle with valuable prizes. Thus, the electronic invoice becomes not only a payment instrument, but also an opportunity to save time, resources and, why not, to win attractive prizes.
