A Samsung tablet forced the premature landing of a plane

An overheated Samsung tablet forced the premature landing of a plane making an intercontinental flight.

A Samsung tablet that overheated during an intercontinental flight forced a Delta flight to land before reaching its destination. We are talking about a flight that left Detroit for Amsterdam, but that landed in Manchester after a Samsung tablet overheated and started to emit smoke after being stuck in a seat.

The tablet got stuck inside the folding seat, and due to overheating, it would have generated such a high temperature that the foam of the seat would have started to burn, emitting a strange smoke. At that moment the captain of the plane made the decision to land at the nearest airport, which is the one in Manchester, where the problem was solved.

In Manchester, it took two hours for the entire seat to be changed, and here we are not talking about the Galaxy Note 7, as I already told you, but about a Samsung tablet. Delta representatives did not provide more details about the incident, and Samsung refused to provide others, so we are left with what you have below.

It is hard to say if the simple overheating of the tablet could have generated that burning of the seat foam, or if its battery exploded and caused sparks that ignited the said foam. Regardless of the situation, this is the second incident in a week where a Samsung product has caused panic on a plane, with a Galaxy Note 2 having problems with an exploded battery on a plane flying over India.

"An overheated Samsung tablet forced a Delta plane flying from Detroit to Amsterdam to land in Manchester, England. A Delta official stated that the tablet started to emit smoke after it got stuck in a seat. The tablet fell inside the seat and remained stuck after it was folded. Under the seat cover, the tablet and its foam began to emit smoke, the passengers feeling an unusual smell."

  1. Samsung should stop making tablets. Apple makes some good f and so it can't compete. Dear Samsung, get rid of laptops and high end phones!

  2. It is interesting that since the iPhone 7 appeared, everything Samsung is exploding. Soon we will surely hear about a Samsung smartwatch that exploded in someone's hand. It is interesting that this news is always on the technology sites. A news that an aircraft landed at another airport due to a "fire" inside would be everywhere in the news, but the top only walks like that on sites like this without pictures without anything.
Is this Apple's 2016 marketing campaign for the iPhone 7?

  3. Until last year, the first wave of iPhones covered only 3 countries, namely France, Germany and England. The highlight is that this year it had stocks for all of Europe. Think a little too. Someone is manipulating something here.?

  4. Almost yes, because Apple collaborates with the same battery manufacturer that Samsung also collaborates with.... the peak of the batteries replaced in the NOTE 7 still have problems, but nothing has happened to the iPhone for now, although if the batteries were made using the same manufacturing process, the same should happen to the iPhone....there is something suspicious here

  5. The period between the release of the Note 7 and the iPhone 7 is too short to completely eliminate the scenario that something dirty happened to Samsung to put the much-preserved iPhone 7 in a good light.
This whole thing is already starting to be sewn with white thread and the iPhone is gaining ground in an absolutely vile way.
