Video: Resistance test between iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Motorola Xoom

The boys who wanted to prove that SmartCover does not offer too much protection for iPad 2 they have now made a video clip in which they destroy not one but 3 different tablets. iPad 2, Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab are "dropped" from a height of approximately 1.5 m on the pavement and as you can see, none of the tablets can be used after the test. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the smallest of the tablets and resists the impact the best, but the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom remain with destroyed screens and the iPad 2 seems to be the tablet with the most fragile screen.

Although for many tests like this seem useless, there are quite a few people who, after seeing such a video clip, run quickly to buy a screen protection solution. I think it is good to know how a product is destroyed after such a "leakage" because something similar can happen to anyone and they will know what to expect when they pick up the tablet from the bottom.

  1. I don't know why but I think this test is fake, the only one that was really tested and they showed us was the Samsung, the rest show us 2 tablets as they fall, but when you pick them up from the bottom, it stops the image and shows us some tablets as if the tank ran over them, I don't think it's true, to fall from 1 m and do it like that....

  2. I'm giving you an email where you don't think you can see a tab fallen on one side of your hand. It got frayed like an iPad and fell on the plastic edge. It belongs to a friend and for half a year no display appeared for that tab. No I know if it can be found in other parts, but it doesn't exist in ro. I called everywhere. By the way, it can be easily replaced on the ipad or ipad 2 or do you have any idea if it is sold? I ask out of curiosity.
